Root Canal Therapy

Root canal therapy

One way we can save a tooth from extraction is by treating it to root canal therapy. This may be necessary if the affected tooth has extensive decay, damage or a deep filling. It involves removing any infection from the inner part of the tooth (the pulp), flushing clean the root canals and shaping them with mini instruments. The freshly cleaned canals are then filled and topped off with a filling or crown to prevent further infection.
